On this Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we pause to reflect on the enduring wisdom of Dr. King’s words: "The time is always right to do what is right." Let's commit ourselves each day to uplift one another and actively contribute to positive change in our communities. If you are looking for ways to give back or would like some general information about MLK Day, you can find resources at AmeriCorps.gov.

#whatscookinwednesday Winter is in full swing! Here’s a simple, but very delicious, recipe for spiked hot chocolate! Use whatever type of liquor you like, and don’t forget to garnish with some yummy marshmallows. Spiked Hot Chocolate ☕ ✔️ Place a saucepan over medium heat. ✔️ Add the cocoa powder and ¼ cup of the milk and whisk until the cocoa powder is mostly integrated. Whisk in the remaining milk until smooth. ✔️ Add the remaining ingredients and heat over medium heat until the chocolate is melted, about 2 minutes. Do not boil. ✔️ Stir in the alcohol. Serve immediately, garnished with whipped cream or marshmallows. Enjoy!
