    It’s a wrap! We were thrilled to attend and participate in this year’s LUXEPACK Monaco, with dedicated conferences and round table discussions that explored the future of beauty devices, packaging, and sustainability. ♻️ Moderating an insightful panel discussion, our Market Manager France, Elodie Vicini, explored the “Coalition for Circular Beauty: The Challenges of Cosmetic Deposit Systems” with key sustainability players and industry leaders. Aiming to launch a pilot deposit scheme on point-of-sale skin care products by the end of year, the Circul'R coalition gathers beauty companies determined to make a change in how beauty packaging is consumed and recycled for a more sustainable future. 💡 “Beauty Devices of the Future: Design, Function, and Sustainability” was also on the agenda, as Elodie delved into the evolution of the ever-popular category in a dedicated conference session. As the global personalized skin care market is projected to reach US $48.65 billion in 2030, consumers’ desires for unique and personalized beauty solutions are steadily driving the growth of this category.     Just last week, our Global Partnerships Director, Fernanda Pigatto took the stage at in-cosmetics Latin America to present “The Impact of Longevity on our Industry,” a critical topic on today’s market as the global population continues to age. Exploring how the longevity movement translates to the beauty market in Latin American countries, take a look at some of the points explored in this conference: 👉🏽 By 2030, it’s expected that globally, 1 in 6 people will be aged 60 years or over. Demographics are changing and so should beauty marketing. 👉🏽 As demographics evolve, it is essential for brands to start defining beauty through good health, preserved cognitive abilities, and well-being. With this mindset, the different stages of life can be celebrated rather than feared. 👉🏽 Preventive health and care is at the helm of this movement. In fact, young generations are betting on preventive care more so than previous generations: the most notable shift in mindset over the past 2 decades lies in the shift from millennials’ appetite for correction and reversal treatments versus Gen Z’s desire for preventive measures.     Dopamine, or colloquially nicknamed the “happy hormone,” has been talked about and applied across various realms — from fashion to beauty to interior design — where the idea of dressing, decorating, or applying make-up in a joyful, colorful way helps to spur little bursts of happiness. Recently on TikTok, “dopamine menus” have abounded with users sharing carefully curated, colorful lists of activities and moments that bring them joy. In an age where screen times are at an all-time high, dopamine menus are a way of countering default social media scrolling with joy-inducing habits. This viral trend, kicked into gear by content creator, podcaster, and entrepreneur Payton Sartain, showcases simple things that spur joy in the form of a three-course meal. For starters, or things that will give an instant boost, some might do their skin care routine or stretch for a few minutes. Your main dopamine course consists of those longer activities like cooking a meal or going for a run, taking a long bath or trying a new nail look. Meanwhile, sides are reserved for things to do alongside mundane chores, like listening to your favorite song or calling a friend. The dessert portion of the dopamine menu includes activities that spark joy in the short term, but that should be limited in quantity — just like dessert — like watching a favorite TV show or playing video games. And finally, the specials are those once-in-a-while indulgences like booking a spa treatment or a holiday for that extra rewarding feeling.     Last week, we had the pleasure of sharing insights into the future of beauty in the age of longevity at MakeUp in NewYork! We were thrilled to present one of the most recurring topics within the industry to a full house. Taking the stage, our Trend Localization & Business Development Director, Eleonora Mazzilli explored the meaning of “longevity” within the realm of beauty.     📰 Hot off the press! We were thrilled to contribute to Cosmopolitan Netherlands’ latest Beauty Issue with insights into the Future of Beauty! Contributing forecast-based insights into the many realms of beauty such as inclusivity, aging, and technology, BEAUTYSTREAMS shared what the future holds for the beauty industry and how brands can adapt to the changing landscape of the industry. 💬 When chatting about the future of aging, Eleonora Mazzilli explains that "as people are living longer [...] we will see even more developments in the field of aging.
