🚂 Full Steam Ahead at The Franklin Institute! 🚂   Earlier this year, The Franklin Institute celebrated its 200th anniversary. For two centuries, this iconic institution has been at the heart of science, innovation, and discovery, inspiring curiosity in visitors of all ages. With their latest announcement, The Franklin Institute demonstrates its commitment to this mission by enhancing their exhibits and offering ever-evolving experiences to visitors. Becker & Frondorf is proud to be a long-term partner with The Franklin Institute, serving as Owner's Representatives for the the Hamilton Collections Gallery. This two-story exhibit celebrates decades of history and innovation, prominently featuring the iconic Baldwin 60000 Locomotive, a museum treasure since 1933.  It was an honor to contribute to this landmark project that embodies the spirit of discovery.

As Constitution Day approaches on September 17, we want to spotlight an exceptional B&F project completed last year! The National Constitution Center’s (NCC) newest gallery showcases the five freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment: religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. Spanning 1,500 square feet, the gallery features an array of captivating visual and audio media, interactives, and artifacts designed to educate visitors. The next viewing will take place on Sunday, September 15th. This remarkable installation, designed by world-renowned artist James Turrell, creates a space for quiet contemplation, relaxation, and wonder, as visitors gather to witness the mesmerizing play of light during sunrise or sunset. The skyspace's unique cove-style lighting enhances the natural light, offering an immersive experience that challenges our perception of light and color.
