We can be SO MUCH MORE than a temporary staffing services vendor! Let us be your Recruiting Partner with temp-2-hire, contract, and direct search capabilities. Regardless of the vehicle you choose with us our services go far beyond resumes in your inbox. Talk to me about succession planning, skill gaps, and pay disparity. Let's align our resources and create milestones to ensure that we are not only filling seats but building onto your future workforce. Use our experience and presence in the market to benchmark current job requirements and pay windows by skillset and level. We know staffing services are necessary given the current employment market and the nature of manufacturing and other commercial service environments. The truth is that staffing services are also seemingly available in abundance. A new firm opens every day and there is not much that differentiates many of us. BWC does not work on a transactional bases, mindlessly backfilling contractors as they flame out, quit, and get released. We are here to build with you! You may have several "staffing vendors" but how many Recruiting Partners do you have?

Home Depot aims to lessen the gap between retail operations and corporate employees by requiring all employees (corporate, remote, or otherwise) to work an in-store retail shift one day a quarter. How do you feel about this policy? What can other companies do to get creative in bridging the gaps among executives and entry-level workers or different silos within their organization? https://lnkd.in/gjSWADba

Cost-per-hire is a fundamental metric when building out your staffing strategy as well as projecting workforce planning. If your team is utilizing staffing/recruiting services I urge you to evaluate how fast your revolving door is. Have you let your vendor turn you into their perpetual client? Often "feeding the production machine" with contractors becomes the status quo. Meanwhile, those temps never go permanent and your workforce does not evolve into the senior technical professionals that bolster success and growth. Your employer brand fades as faith in internal career growth dies, hurting your ability to engage with the better half of the workforce. All the while your staffing vendor maintains headcount and collects their invoices. MAKE IT STOP, partner with your staffing/recruiting firm to establish parameters of service. It should go so much further than markups and contract windows. A few: - What can you expect in regard to attrition %? - What is their internal recruiting/screening/onboarding process and does it mimic yours? - Can we agree on a quality standard and live up to a culture that we are trying to establish here at the facility (Especially if you are a new build)? If either party fails to meet these parameters a conversation begins. Easily identifiable fault points can be seen and mediated before they grow. The feedback loop grows stronger as well as the business relationship. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: The revolving door slows, your staffing budget reduces, and your workforce ages and matures well. If you would like to talk about building a long term workforce to replace the perpetual band aid you currently may have. BWC is here for you!
Cost-per-hire is an important metric for organizations to understand. It can help direct where to focus recruiting efforts, what pieces of the process are working, and which are not. Balancing this metric with recruiter efficiency, quality of hires, and time-to-fill data is where organizations can find long-term talent solutions. https://lnkd.in/eBcm_-Xz
