It builds on UE 5.4 which introduced tools for creating and animating characters inside the editor including the Modular Control Rig and Automatic Retargeting for quicker and simpler bipedal character animations, an upgrade to Sequencer with easier controls, GPU instance culling to help with hardware Ray Tracing and a new Tessellation feature in Nanite. CGPro School’s founder and principal instructor, Edward Dawson-Taylor, will introduce UE for beginners then take us on a tour of UE5.5’s new capabilities in this interactive virtual event featuring case studies and live demonstrations.
