Introducing our New Youth Coordinator! We are happy to announce and introduce to you our new Youth Programs Coordinator, Kylie Bassett. Hailing from Cypress, TX, Kylie completed her Bachelor’s degree at Sam Houston State University in Animal Science. She also recently completed her Master’s degree in Agriculture at Sam Houston State University. Growing up she aided her parents with running and raising their show pig operation. Kylie has a deep passion for the Agriculture Industry and youth development. While in college she had opportunities to be a part of the Sam Houston State’s Beef Cattle Show Team and the honor of being a coach to the 2022-2024 SHSU Livestock Judging teams. She enjoyed gaining new knowledge and making connections in the Beef Cattle Industry. We are so excited for her to start her new journey as the Youth Programs Coordinator, and we cannot wait for you all to meet her!
