#BEESYonTour Continuing vacation adventures in Morocco... Today we experienced hammams in Marrakech. According to some online searching, "hammams are predicated on the idea of having places of extreme cleanliness – where purifying the body goes hand-in-hand with purifying the soul. Around 600 AD, hammams became places where major life events were celebrated and bathing rituals were incorporated into weddings and births." Now you know! After all of that scrubbing at Marajah, I'm definitely feeling purified now!
