Let's start the Fall Immuno-Connect at GIGA - Université de Liège Malik HAMAIDIA Thomas Marichal Grégory Ehx

Dear colleagues, On October 24th, we are launching the first Immuno-Connect event at the GIGA Institute of the University of Liège. The goal of these meetings is to strengthen ties and foster exchanges within the French-speaking immunology community in Belgium. They will tentatively take place four times a year (one per season), and will be followed by social activities. These meetings are an integral part of the scientific animation of GIGA-Immunobiology, but are open to all the young and senior researchers interested in immunology @ ULiège! For this inaugural Fall edition of the meeting, we will have the pleasure to welcome Drs. Marc Bajenoff (CIML Marseille) and Hamida Hammad (UGhent, VIB), as external speakers, as well as to two junior speakers from our community. The event will take place at the 5th floor of the GIGA. Please find the event flyer attached, and do not forget to register from now onwards using the QR code attached in order to secure your seat, food and drinks! Today, I presented some of my best data at the 7th European Congress of Immunology in Dublin. I’m grateful to the #ECI abstract reviewers for selecting my work for an oral presentation, to #EFIS for providing me with a travel grant, and to my promotors for funding the rest of the trip. Some really strong data - if I may say so myself - the generation of which would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of several key academic collaborations. #BIS #yBIS
