Today was one of those days that reiterates the WHY in my career! Being able to assist my client in resources from to start to finish for her move from her home of 40+years to her new home in a Senior Living Community was a true delight. From providing options on communities, touring her top choice, introducing her to a transition specialist to help her with packing / unpacking /moving and decorating and a realtor who helped her with selling items she no longer needed and staging her home for the perfect sale! For our August “Community Partner of the Month”, Benchmark Senior Solutions wanted to recognize the impactful work that Bonnie Fisher, Community Relations Manager, and Hospice of the Piedmont (HOP) do for our Seniors. Hospice of the piedmont (HOP) is a community-based nonprofit that has offered expert care and peaceful resolution to Virginia families for over 40 years. Based in Charlottesville, HOP cares for patients with serious illness and their families during the final months of life, and offers grief and bereavement services to the entire community.
