We had a great time showcasing the power of our Velocyt instrument at this year's GLIIFCA meeting. 𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐲𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 85 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐲𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬. Visitors to our demo were able to see the capabilities of our instrument to provide rapid, gentle, large particle analysis with total sample recovery. Our team continues to grow! We're thrilled to announce that Shawn Roybal has joined BennuBio as our new Associate Mechanical Engineer! Shawn holds dual bachelor's degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University and a Graduate Certificate in Nuclear Systems Engineering from Texas A&M. He's also starting a Master's program in Industrial Engineering this summer. Previously, Shawn worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Nuclear Facilities Systems Engineer. He has also held roles at Lockheed Martin, BNSF Railway, and the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer, gaining valuable skills in requirements management, verification and validation, technical document writing, and Agile project management. With his strong technical expertise and hands-on experience, Shawn is sure to be a fantastic addition to our team.
