Steve was drawn to BTS for "the collaborative culture, great investment in technology excellence, and the [opportunity to] solve interesting problems with like-minded people". Away from his desk, Steve enjoys biking and exploring the outdoors, hitting the gym, or diving into a good book. With extensive expertise in Information Systems Security and Compliance, Rick is a valuable addition to the team. Supporting Berkley businesses is an ongoing, collaborative team effort. This week, the Specialty IT Services team at BTS met to discuss their new team structure and support model for the Berkley businesses they work with. Additionally, they held an internal data hack-a-thon to solve operational reporting needs. Of course, our teams know how to work hard and play hard - after hours, they checked out the new Putts & Pins near our Urbandale office for some fun and team bonding!

Today is bittersweet as our co-ops wrap-up their summer with us. This past semester, we had co-ops on 7 different teams making an impact in a variety of areas. For their final presentations, they were tasked with presenting to their peers, leaders, and others around the organization what they worked on while here at BTS, milestones hit, and next steps in their career. Our Infrastructure & Architecture teams have been hard at work planning for the last quarter of the year. They went back to basics with sticky notes to outline dependencies - there were significant learnings from the two-day session and showcased the importance of communication across teams. Thank you to everyone involved and we'll see the group back in December to collaborate on what's to come in 2025!
