It is amazing to see what great talent Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA is able to attract each year with their unprecedented career event #TalentMeetsBertelsmann. At the beginning of this week, seven students joined together to solve our Healthcare case created by our team. Our very own Laura Marie Schroven and Julian Poracos coached the students over two days with the support of Lisa-Marie Elpers. It was incredible how the students came up with a solution that amazed our executive Bertelsmann jury within those two days. We are happy to congratulate our team consisting of Lennard Heyder, Sarah Löwentraut, Flavia Criscione, Cedrik Schuckmann, Yasmine Taha, Sze Wai C., and Maximilian Nasini to the well-deserved first place! 🚀 Special thanks go out to our colleagues Pamela Taylor and Niki Kalkanova for organizing this unforgettable event! We're thrilled to announce that the Bertelsmann Education Group has achieved remarkable growth in the 2023 financial year! 🚀 The Bertelsmann Education Group increased both their revenue and operating EBITDA adj. in the 2023 financial year, fueled primarily by strong organic growth across all operating units, improved cost efficiency, and portfolio effects from the full consolidation of Brazilian education provider Afya in May 2022. These are the key highlights: - Revenue: €876 million, a 40.9% increase vs. PY (8.7% organic growth) - Operating EBITDA adj.: €283 million, a 47.6% increase vs. PY - EBITDA Margin: 32.3%, up from 30.8% in 2022
