We are excited to welcome Betnation as the newest member of our association. A brand of Smart Gaming B.V., Betnation recently launched in the Netherlands. With their addition, IBIA now represents over 90% of the licensed sportsbooks currently operating in the country. Robert Schouten, CEO of Smart Gaming b.v. (Betnation) said: “We are thrilled to join IBIA and affirm our commitment to promoting the highest standards of integrity in sports betting. By working with industry leaders, we aim to ensure a safe and fair betting experience for all users.” IBIA’s Q1 2024 report (https://lnkd.in/eYFNjit5) detailed 56 alerts during the quarter. IBIA alerts contributed to the investigations and subsequent successful sanctioning of 21 clubs, players and officials in 2023.
