𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆. ❌ And we’re perfectly okay with that. At #BeVersa, we’re a small but mighty collaborative team who offers comprehensive #Translation, #Editing, and #Proofreading (TEP) services (among others) — and we’re proud to handle every step ourselves. We’re six hard-working women who take pride in being detail-oriented, passionate, and dedicated. 🩷 While we’re excited to keep growing, we’re committed to staying true to what sets us apart: 1️⃣ As a small team, we offer a 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 that big agencies can’t match. 💬 Direct communication ensures your project gets the attention it deserves. 2️⃣ Our streamlined structure means 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀. This translates (😉) to more affordable rates without compromising on quality. 💰 3️⃣ When you work with us, you’re always 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. That means consistent, high-quality results every time. ✅ 4️⃣ We focus on 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 and understanding your particular needs. 🤝 Our goal is to become a trusted partner for all your projects. 5️⃣ Our hands-on approach ensures smoother processes, fewer misunderstandings, and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵. 🛠️ Does this sound like the kind of team you’d love to work with? Let’s chat! 🔥🍞😰 Can you guess this Argentine saying from the emojis? Hint: If you’re in this situation, things are NOT looking good. 😬 Leave your guesses below! 👇 #Idioms and #sayings are expressions that don’t always have a direct translation. That’s why #localization is so important. If you guessed it right, how would you localize it into English? 🧐 Slide to see our choices! 👉 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At #BeVersa, we’re here to help you with your #translation and #transcreation needs. 📩 “𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴? 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 3 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴.” 🕵️♀️ 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘦... 📜 15,000 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴, 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳... Sounds familiar? 😆 𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 doesn’t always mean 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦! A “short” translation could involve: 📌 Non-editable text (scanned docs, images, locked PDFs) 📌 Poorly scanned documents with missing text 📌 Industry-specific terminology that requires research 📌 Tables, charts, and graphs that need to be recreated That’s why it’s so important for clients to understand the full scope of the work involved. Transparency = better results for everyone! 🙌 Have you ever had a “small” project turn into a big one? #BeVersa #BeVersaTranslations #TranslatorStruggles #Localization -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At #BeVersa, we’re here to help you with your #translation and #transcreation needs. 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲? 🤔 While out and about, one of us came across this sign. The correct phrase should be “Qué tiempo loco.” The accent on 𝘲𝘶é is essential because it turns the word into an exclamation (𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳!). Without it, the sentence doesn’t make sense at all! 😅 In #Spanish, 𝘲𝘶é with an accent is used for exclamations or questions, while 𝘲𝘶𝘦 without it is typically a conjunction (that) or a relative pronoun (who, which, that). ✅ Qué tiempo loco. ❌ Que tiempo loco. And yes, accent marks are just as important on capitalized words—so “QUÉ TIEMPO LOCO” would still need the accent! This little mark might seem minor, but it’s not. It’s a great reminder of how paying attention to linguistic nuances can make all the difference in #communication. Have you ever spotted a similar “almost perfect” sign or phrase? We’d love to hear your examples! 😊 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At #BeVersa, we’re here to help you with your #translation and #transcreation needs. 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮’𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲. 🧉 At #BeVersa, mate is a daily essential. 🌿 For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, mate is a traditional drink in #Argentina and other South American countries made by steeping dried leaves (yerba mate) in hot water. It objectively tastes better unsweetened (and with a side of medialunas 🥐, of course). We won’t have it any other way! 😂 We love it so much, we made our own set of mates, and one of us even has it tattooed! 🖤 Like coffee, it keeps us energized and focused during long #projects, and it's also a great excuse to take a break and connect with each other. Have you ever tried it? How did you like it? PS: Think you can match the mate to its BeVersa owner? Head over to our #Instagram poll and cast your vote to find out! As many of you know, at #BeVersa, we’re not only board game enthusiasts — we also specialize in translating and editing games! ✍️✨ On the weekend of November 2nd, we had the fantastic opportunity to attend the National Board Game Gathering (Encuentro Nacional de Juegos de Mesa, #ENJM) in Mar del Plata. It was a unique experience where we connected with passionate entrepreneurs who have brought fascinating games to life. 🤩 We had the chance to chat with Martín and María from Mente Criminal, who shared insights into creating their games… entirely from scratch! 😲 We also met Pepo, who shares his passion for composting ♻️ in a fun and engaging way through his game 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘦𝘯, which even won best family game! 🏆 Another highlight was meeting the team from Super Noob, who is always working on exciting new projects. Their latest game, 𝘑𝘢𝘳𝘥í𝘯 𝘑𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘯é𝘴, won the top prize in the general category. 🌸🎌 And, of course, we couldn’t resist playing a round of 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘴 with the Juegos Fsoc team. Our very own meme queen, Sofia Castro Domenech, took the win! 👑 We loved it so much that we bought one for our next team get-together. 🙌 It’s always inspiring to participate in these initiatives and meet so many dedicated creators. Huge congratulations to all the teams who shared their passion with us at the ENJM! 🎉 Did you make it to this year’s gathering? We’d love to hear your thoughts! 💭 And who’s planning to join us at the next one? #BeVersaTranslations #BoardGameTranslation #GameLocalization #Localization -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At #BeVersa, we’re here to help you with your #translation and #transcreation needs.
