We have the keys to marketing to the luxury market!
The skinny: The primary goal of marketing should be to serve ads to real humans. It's simple to say but hard to practice with unrealistic metric goals. MFAs (Made for Advertising sites) and unscrupulous AdTech vendors siphon marketing spend from legitimate websites. (Shout out to Dr. Augustine Fou and his cohorts!) The luxury market is incredibly challenging as its targets typically maintain a low digital profile. While traditional media, such as print and direct mail, are still wildly effective, digital is more challenging due to unreasonable KPIs as a result of ad fraud. Contracting directly with luxury content properties and publishers is cost-prohibitive and universe-prohibitive (too few targets). But there is a way to reach such targets at a fraction of the cost demanded by premium placements (#cliffhanger). DM me for that info. "Last click attribution" is a joke and the bane of "performance marketing." Rather, evaluate campaigns based on whether the people you marketed to are the people who bought.
