🏁 🏎️ Pit Stop for Health at Atlanta Motor Speedway was a huge success! A heartfelt thank you to our incredible diabetes community, volunteers, Atlanta's leading healthcare providers, dynamic panelists, on-site talent, and our amazing partners for making this event unforgettable. Special shoutout to Charlotte Drury, Reneé Rayles, Keiva Cheney, Dr. David Robertson, Joseph West, SCD, Antoine Gibson, and Emily Alfredo for joining us. And a big thanks to our featured guest, Anthony Alfredo, who took our mission to the track, sporting Beyond Type 1 branding on his racecar to raise awareness for early type 1 diabetes screening! We're proud to share that 88% of attendees were screened for type 1 diabetes, thanks to the support of Enable Biosciences! Even more inspiring, 100% of survey respondents said they'd encourage their families to get screened. With 80% of people diagnosed with type 1 diabetes having no family history, raising awareness and getting screened is more critical than ever. This is just the beginning—stay tuned for upcoming screening events and opportunities to get involved as a volunteer or attendee!
