As we dive into July, I’m thrilled to share that June wrapped up in spectacular fashion! 😎 I had the privilege of attending the press release for Freedman Town, where the final row houses are set for a stunning historic renovation. I was captivated by our very own Pastor Rudy Rasmus, who brilliantly moderated an electrifying panel at the Houston Area Urban League Luncheon. And to top it all off, we hosted a dynamic job fair for Areas USA at the Bread of Life. The turnout was phenomenal, with jobseekers from all walks of life. It’s throwback Thursday! I want to throw it back to the awesome time I had last week networking, connecting, and reconnecting. - HMSDC Scholarship Fundraiser where I got a chance to brush up on my golf skills and network with some amazing professionals. - WBEA Radiacal Impact Conference where I had the honor of meeting some dynamic women in business and learn about opportunities with Thompson Hospitality. I also got a chance to hear the pitch competition. One in particular blew us all away with her Crime No Crime pitch! I cant wait to play the game with family and friends! - I got a chance to hear The Amanda Sapp from Amazing 102.5 deliver and amazingly inspirational speech to the graduating students at the Work Texas graduation ceremony. She’s a natural. 😎👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 - The Greater Houston LGBTQ Chamber’s Pride in Business Luncheon was a success! Over 750 registered! Congratulations again to all of the winners and a special congratulations to Tammi Wallace, Kym Adams, and Tracy Upton! 🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The food was delicious, networking opportunities was awesome, and I taught David from CBS a new camera trick to take pictures on his cell phone. 📸 🏳️🌈 - Let’s not forget the private event where I was surrounded by Houston’s top prominent black business owners. I’m still in awe to be surrounded by all of the black excellence in the room. Thanks Danielle!!! - I also got a change to reconnect with ladies from Lakewood Church’s Business Women’s LEAGUE for pottery painting.
