  • Imagine presenting 22 different service options to a prospect and watching their eyes glaze over completely. That was me in 2016. And guess how many they chose? Zero. Not a single one. It took me 8 painful years to learn what I'm about to share with you... The secret to enrolling more patients isn't more options - it's fewer, more compelling ones. Let me explain my embarrassing journey... When we first started helping practitioners with marketing, we wanted to be helpful. REALLY helpful. So when a client would say "Could you also do X for me?" we'd say "Sure!" & add it to our service menu. Website design? Added it. Social media management? Added it. Email sequences? Added it. Webinar development? Added it. Video production? Why not! Before I knew it, we had developed what I now call "offer creep" - a bloated menu of 22 different services that confused both us AND our prospects. Our strategy calls became overwhelming info dumps where we'd frantically try to explain all our options. Prospects would nod politely, promise to "think about it," & then disappear forever. Sound familiar? 🤔 The turning point came when a mentor asked me a simple question: "What if you only had ONE thing to offer at the end of your strategy call?" It felt terrifying. What if that ONE thing wasn't what they wanted? But reluctantly, I tried it. I cut out 19 of our 22 offers, leaving just 3 core services, with only ONE being the logical choice at the strategy call stage. The result? Our conversion rate tripled in 30 days. Why? Because we eliminated the mental burden of choice. We created clarity instead of confusion. The same principle applies to your practice. If you're offering fee-for-service, packages, AND membership without a clear pathway between them, you're unwittingly creating confusion.
