🎉 SleepioRx has received FDA clearance! 🎉 We are thrilled to share that the US Food and Drug Administration has granted clearance for SleepioRx, our flagship digital treatment for insomnia. This milestone comes after a decade of research, evidence generation, and partnerships with leading voices across healthcare. SleepioRx’s clearance comes on the heels of new proposed reimbursement codes from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (which proposed to pay healthcare providers for FDA-cleared digital mental health treatments). Together, this paves the way for broader access to critical mental health treatment for those in need nationwide. We are humbled and excited to have the opportunity to better serve patients across the country in need of effective mental health care. Read more about what clearance means in this article from Fierce Healthcare (big thank you to Anastassia Gliadkovskaya for covering this story): https://lnkd.in/gQZRm9Bt

Huge thanks to everyone who joined in, shared some laughs, and took a little time to recharge. Special shout-out to our amazing host, Jade Scarlett, who made the session so fun and relaxing. Big Health had the opportunity to learn from some truly top-of-class HR benefits rockstars at the HR Executive Leadership Exchange in San Diego last week. Our own William Walters took the main stage to highlight the value of on-demand mental health care and the importance of offering employees (and their families) both choice and ease of access when it comes to mental health support. Will shared powerful stories from our customers’ experiences, sparking a meaningful conversation with the audience as they reflected on their own challenges and successes. What stood out to us? 🤷♂️ HR leaders are deeply committed to building cultures that prioritize employee wellbeing, and we're proud to support them on this journey. 🚀 #mentalhealth #employeehealth #HR #digitalhealth #wellbeing

Suicide is a heavy topic, often surrounded by stigma and silence. But silence isn’t the answer. This World Suicide Prevention Day, let's take steps to start meaningful conversations: Know the signs. Keep an eye out for changes in behavior, withdrawal, expressions of hopelessness, or talk of death. These could be signs someone needs help. Check in. Reach out to those around you. A simple "How are you really doing?" can open the door for a meaningful conversation. Learn. If you'd like to better understand the complexities of suicidal thoughts, consider reading Clancy Martin's memoir guide "How Not to Kill Yourself" — a raw and honest look at this difficult topic. Listen. When someone opens up, be present and offer empathy without judgment. Sometimes, simply being heard can make all the difference. Share resources. Connect those who need support with professional help. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 (call or text 988). You don't have to be an expert to make a difference. Your willingness to reach out, listen, and offer support can save a life. #SuicidePrevention #SuicideAwarenessMonth #MentalHealth #YouAreNotAlone

🔍 What we’re reading: A new publication in NEJM, which recognized SleepioRx as a digital CBT-I option with “substantial published evidence supporting efficacy.” ⤵️ In a recent New England Journal of Medicine publication, authors Charles M. Morin, Ph.D., and Daniel J. Buysse, M.D., explore care options for managing insomnia. This article is a must-read for clinicians and healthcare professionals focused on sleep disorders. It explores the complexities of diagnosing and treating insomnia — highlighting the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) as the first-line treatment and how digital CBT-I, like SleepioRx, can narrow the gap between demand and access to care.
