Bikes Together is a nonprofit bike shop and community hub for equitable bike access and education. We are a safe and inclusive space to ask questions, a resource to get or maintain a bike - no matter what your budget - and a place to build skills, knowledge, and community centered around bicycles. We offer programming such as Learn and Repair Appointments, Gender Equality Mechanics workshops, mobile repair clinics, Mechanics Classes, redistribution of recycled bikes to community partners, a social enterprise bike shop, and recycling and repurposing hundreds of bicycles and bike parts. Join us in this vision and help keep cycling accessible, affordable, and fun for all Denverites.

Any guesses about the amount of bikes and bike parts we kept out of the landfill? So far in 2023, we have redistributed, repurposed, and recycled approximately 46,744 lbs of bikes and bike parts - roughly 23 tons, or the weight of a fully-loaded firetruck! Through the efforts of those donating bikes (thank you!) and our hardworking volunteers and staff, we safely repaired bikes, redistributed them to community partners, sold them at a cost-flexible price, refurbished them for sale in the shop, or recycled bikes and bike parts that were not repairable.
