Crafting SoleOfTheSoul: Footwear with an Edge 👟🖤✨ This week, I had the chance to dive into creating a fictional brand, and I’m thrilled to introduce SolesForTheSoul—a shoe brand for those who walk their own path. SolesForTheSoul isn’t just about shoes; it’s about making a statement. Our designs blend bold aesthetics with comfort and sustainability, offering unique footwear for the unapologetically authentic. Whether you’re striding through the city or dancing under moonlight, our shoes are crafted to embody individuality and purpose. The heart of SolesForTheSoul lies in upcycled materials and customizable features, allowing every pair to tell its own story—just like you. Our community isn’t just buying shoes; they’re joining a movement that celebrates self-expression while treading lightly on the planet. Creating this brand really pushed me to think creatively about how to combine aesthetics, values, and storytelling into one cohesive vision. It’s a project I’ve truly loved bringing to life, and I can’t wait to refine it further. What kind of shoes best represent your soul? Let me know below! 🖤✨

🌟 What is Experiential Learning & How Can We Leverage It on Social Media? 🌟 As part of my Social Media Management course at university, I’ve recently explored a fascinating concept that I think is essential for anyone in the digital space: Experiential Learning. 🤓 But what exactly is it? In simple terms, Experiential Learning is the process of learning through direct experience—hands-on involvement in a learning activity rather than just passively watching or reading. It’s all about engaging with real-world scenarios to deepen understanding and enhance skills. 🧠 In the context of social media, this learning model can be incredibly powerful for both individuals and brands. Here are a few ways we can incorporate it: Real-Time Engagement: Instead of just consuming content, create and share posts, run campaigns, or even host live Q&As. By actively participating, you gain invaluable insights into audience behavior and engagement strategies. 🔄 A/B Testing: Try different content types, posting times, or captions to see what resonates with your audience. The results provide direct feedback, which is a form of experiential learning in itself. 📊 Feedback Loops: Pay attention to the comments, messages, and direct interactions from your followers. Use their feedback as a learning tool to improve your content and adjust strategies in real time. 🗣️ Collaborations & Influencer Partnerships: Working with others exposes you to new techniques, strategies, and ways of thinking. Collaborating is like a real-world case study in social media marketing. 🤝 Reflect and Iterate: After executing a campaign or post, reflect on its performance. What worked? What didn’t? This cycle of reflection-action is at the core of experiential learning and will sharpen your social media instincts. Incorporating experiential learning into our social media practices doesn't just improve our skills—it helps us create more authentic, engaging, and effective content. 📈💡 So, next time you’re planning a post or campaign, think about it as an opportunity to experiment, learn, and grow! #SocialMedia #ExperientialLearning #DigitalMarketing #SocialMediaManagement #LearningByDoing #GrowthMindset

In our final week of University, we were tasked with creating a marketing campaign and presenting it to one of the four chosen businesses. This was a fantastic opportunity for ourselves to show off what we have learnt throughout this Social Media Management course. Creating SMART objectives, Customer Personas, Content Strategies as well as meaningful content to help story-tell the business and their mission within a short time frame was some of the many challenges that we faced during this task. However, this is everything that we have learned over the past 12 weeks, bringing us up to this final moment. We were then given the opportunity to actually pitch these ideas Infront of not only the full class, but also to the founders of the businesses which made this quite a nerve-wracking experience, however something that we will never forget! This is such an amazing experience that Teesside University International Business School have allowed us to participate in, giving us great experience in creating and presenting business pitches for us to take into the business World! Many thanks to Vanessa Jordens, ★ Simon Clayton FCIM ★ and Danny Reed!
