Big thanks to the industry leaders and speakers who joined us for our co-working workshop in #Dubai yesterday! The day was packed with valuable sharing tailored for our S7 incubation projects—from insights on both the successes and challenges that founders and investors face, to strategies on effective startup and personal branding for founders, to understanding tokens as investment vehicles and what liquid investors prioritize. Binance Labs has invested in Moonwalk Fitness, a fitness accountability app on Solana that combines gamification and financial incentives to promote healthier lifestyles. The app offers gamified fitness challenges that allow users to earn real-world value. Moonwalk Fitness encourages users to hit daily step goals by #staking USDC, SOL, or BONK. To win, users must either meet their crew’s step goal or maintain pace with the leader’s highest completed days. Failing to do so results in forfeiting a portion of their stake, which is then redistributed among the winners. Binance Labs has invested in Lombard, the developer and distributor of LBTC, a security-first Bitcoin liquid staked token that allows both individual holders and large institutions to earn yield on their Bitcoin while leveraging their assets in DeFi. With the new funding from Binance Labs, Lombard plans to expand access to LBTC across new chains, allowing users to stake BTC and mint LBTC.
