The past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing and incredibly fulfilling. It all began with a trip to Phoenix, where I had the privilege of working with Bio-One Inc and other owners to produce new video content and imagery that truly captures the essence of what we do. Next I attended the National Organization for Victim Advocacy NOVA 50th Annual Training Event in DC, which brought together over 2,100 victim advocates from various sectors. I was particularly inspired by the strong presence of US Army Sexual Assault Response Coordinators. It’s clear that the Army is investing in educating their victim advocates, which is crucial for supporting those in need. This was also my first event as a sponsor, and I was thrilled to have a booth supporting such a great cause. A special thanks to James MacArthur, owner of Bio-One Philly, for attending the NOVA event with me—your support made it even more memorable.
The following week, I attended the 25th Annual MID-ATLANTIC COLD CASE HOMICIDE INVESTIGATORS ASSOCIATION Conference in Annapolis with James and Dvonne. Being around such dedicated professionals was truly an honor. This past weekend, I also helped staff the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention booth at the Delaware Peach Festival. I had meaningful conversations with people who shared their personal connections to suicide, and it was especially heartening when parents brought their kids to the booth, sparking much-needed conversations about this important issue.
Amidst these events, I’ve continued doing what I love most—helping families in their toughest times, through undiscovered death remediation, suicide cleanup, hoarding situations, etc. I’m deeply blessed to be in a position where I can make a difference. I truly love what I do!
