BJCTA's Program Coordinator to the CEO, Kelvin Bonner, recently participated in an interview with a prestigious research team from Harvard University. This interview is part of a national initiative that explores the complexities of building successful cross-organizational, multi-sector coalitions, with a special focus on workforce development strategies. Harvard's team sought out Kelvin after recognizing his role in the Recompete process—a process that culminated in the City of Birmingham securing a $20 million grant. During the interview, Kelvin articulated the workforce initiatives outlined in the Recompete application, offering insights that reflect BJCTA's steadfast commitment to economic growth and collaborative partnerships.
