We were thrilled to host dozens of talented local biomedical students at our offices ahead of the annual pitch showcase. It has been great to see Baltimore shine for the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy's 27th Annual Meeting! Our team was thrilled to help welcome over 7,000 brilliant scientists, physicians, and businesspeople from around the world to share insights about cutting-edge, lifesaving medical research. It was fantastic to see strong representation from the local research community, including our talented collaborator Professor Jonathan Ling. The field of gene and cell therapy is advancing rapidly, and we are proud to help move it forward by accelerating the efforts of innovative investigators. Kudos to the ASGCT conference organizing committee and the Baltimore Convention Center for putting on a wonderful meeting. The conference may be wrapping up on tomorrow, but attendees please note: the warm hospitality, delicious food, vibrant culture, and deep pool of scientific talent is here year-round! Hope to welcome you all back again soon!

Thank you Royalty Pharma for a fantastic ABI-2024 conference. The programming was terrific, ranging from CARTs in autoimmune disease and targeting extra chromosomal DNA in cancer to reflections on the public biotech markets, US politics, and early stage translation. And the extracurricular activities in Cambridge UK were historic!

Really excited to amplify the official launch of Infinity Bio, Inc., an antibody profiling company founded last year in Baltimore. Scientific co-founders H. Benjamin Larman and Steve Elledge have blended cutting edge technology (MIPSA) with a practical high-throughput approach to mapping antibody reactivity at scale across viral antigens, self-antigens, and allergens. Custom libraries to assess reactivity can also be created. An experienced management team led by Caroline Popper M.D. MPH is driving the business forward at an impressive pace. We co-invested (through our venture arm Blackbird BioVentures) in the launch of Infinity Bio, which was led by Matt Hellauer at PTX Capital.
