Let’s talk about the new real estate taxes in Wake County! On average, real estate taxes have gone up ~20% from last year. However, that's when property values increased by nearly double. Compared to last year’s rate in Wake County at 1.09%, today’s rate is under .87% to soften the blow to Wake County taxpayers. Be on the lookout for your tax bills in the mail!
