It has been an honor to host several impactful roundtable discussions at #BloombergHouse in Davos this week, bringing together global leaders from the public and private sectors to address some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities shaping our world. One highlight was a conversation on financing the energy transition with Al Gore, 45th Vice President of the United States, and Mikayil Jabbarov, Economy Minister of Azerbaijan. A key takeaway was the stark contrast in energy investment ratios: 85:15 in the developed world compared to 15:85 in developing nations. Addressing this imbalance is critical to ensuring a truly global energy transition. Another remarkable session focused on India’s extraordinary transition story, featuring Hon. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Communications, and Electronics & IT for India, and Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chair of HCLTech. Over the past decade, India has delivered running water, sanitation, roads, hospitals, and schools to even the most remote villages. This progress is part of a broader vision for inclusive growth as the country works toward its ambitious goal of becoming a developed economy by 2047. These discussions demonstrate that the solutions to our most complex challenges lie in collaboration, bold thinking, and a shared commitment to progress. The conversations at Bloomberg House have not just sparked ideas but laid the groundwork for action that can shape a more sustainable, equitable future for all. #WEF25

It has been an incredibly productive week here at Davos, where discussions are shaping the future of global markets and economies. I was delighted to open #BloombergHouse on Monday night, kicking off forward-looking conversations on topics ranging from the energy transition to AI. Our goal is to not only tackle the complex challenges we face, but also to identify solutions that build a more equitable and sustainable future for all. Yesterday, I hosted Al Gore and Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister, Mikayil Jabbarov, at an incredible breakfast on energy-transition finance. We then focused on the opportunities ahead with leaders from business and finance, followed by a Bloomberg Women Who Lead session featuring some of the most influential #WomenLeaders at Davos, each sharing their vision for the future of business. Today’s focus turned to AI and the importance of creating a globally integrated, sustainable AI infrastructure that spans the full AI value chain -- from energy supply to natural resources to talent. I enjoyed speaking with Ali Dalloul, the G42 CEO U.S. and Chief Strategy Officer to discuss ideas for supporting and accelerating this game-changing technology, without increasing global inequality. This is hugely important as at #Bloomberg, we're investing in the future of AI and building purpose-built AI solutions, while mitigating its risks. I look forward to further discussions this week as we continue driving innovation and fostering collaboration for a better future. #Bloomberg #WEF25 #Innovation #AI

📍 In the heart of Milan Bloomberg Milan is located in Piazza Fontana, just steps away from the iconic Duomo Cathedral. The city, renowned for its design, influenced many elements of our Milan office - including the geometric window graphics, the walnut wood cladding hand-crafted in Moglia, and the half-circle fluting that echoes the marble detail surrounding the Duomo Cathedral. 🇮🇹 As the financial hub of Italy, our Milan office also hosts a range of events for employees and clients in the newly renovated auditorium. #Milan #Italy
