For today’s #WhatsYourWhy, we are highlighting our Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Patient Advocate, Janet Arthur. Janet has been with Bloomington Meadows for 16 years, starting in outpatient services with Meadows Hospital in 2008 as a registration clerk. After about four years, she transitioned into the business office as a collector for payments where she has worked her way up to her current position. In her role as Patient Advocate, Janet responds to daily feedback from our patients and their families to find resolutions to their concerns. What is her why? Janet understands that this is a difficult time for our patients and our families. They are in a different environment and surroundings. She is able to assist personally in resolving their grievances and make sure we are providing the best quality care. Janet credits the dedicated team at Meadows for collaborating to assist our patients and their families during this uncertain time in their lives. She admires that it is a team effort at Meadows and everyone is focused on the welfare of our patients. Thank you for everything you do for us, Janet!
