🎥 It’s been a while since I recorded a Tips & Tricks video for Blue Gypsy, Inc., but I’m excited to be back! Lately, I’ve been deep in the process of interviewing candidates for an OSC position, and it inspired me to share some valuable tools for hiring in this role. When interviewing for an OSC, it’s crucial to listen closely for key traits that make someone successful in this position. Here are the top qualities I focus on during my calls: 📞 Tone & Energy – Is the candidate upbeat, friendly, and engaging? OSCs need to create a warm connection without face-to-face interaction. 👂 Active Listening – Do they listen carefully and respond thoughtfully? Being able to understand customer needs is crucial in this role. 🗣️ Communication Skills – Are they clear, confident, and articulate? OSCs are often the first point of contact, so verbal communication is key! 🎯 Problem-Solving Ability – Pay attention to how they answer scenario-based questions. Can they handle objections and provide solutions on the spot? ⚡ Adaptability – Does the candidate handle the flow of the conversation smoothly? OSCs need to pivot quickly depending on the customer’s needs. Hiring the right OSC can elevate your sales process!
