  • On Tuesday, April 30th, the Blue Hen Investment Club embarked on its annual trip to New York City. We started the day at Nasdaq MarketSite to watch the opening bell ceremony, and then we visited TD Securities and Morgan Stanley. We concluded the day with a UD Alumni Networking Event with hors d'oeuvres and great views of the city. A special thank you to Ellen La Fronz, Daniel Bone, Leslie Shields Lundgaard, Joshua Stern, CFA, CAIA, and everyone else who helped make this trip possible. We are also incredibly grateful for all of the UD alumni who attended the networking event and our other visits throughout the day.

  • With last Thursday marking the end of the Spring 2024 New Analyst Education program, we are excited to introduce the Investment Club's newest class of analysts. Over the next few weeks, the new analysts will be working diligently towards their assigned semester-long project. The New Analyst Project consists of the composition of an Equity Research Report, Pitch Deck, and Discounted Cash Flow model based on a company selected by the analyst and provides a hands-on approach to learning investment and valuation concepts. We look forward to seeing what this group accomplishes as we approach the end of the semester!
