We're fans of visual representations that bring clarity and insight to complex topics. The impact of technological advancements is certainly a complex subject and can be hard to wrap your head around. What great news to start this week with: We're celebrating our VP of Sales, Hal K. for being recognized by Twin Cities Business as one of sixteen Notable Military Veterans in 2024. This recognition is given to those who've served in the armed forces and then transitioned into impactful leadership roles in their civilian careers, making significant contributions in their field. Looking at the roster of other recognized veterans, Hal is in great company. As we're wrapping up the final day of the Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MnSEIA) Gateway to Solar Conference, we're thinking about the key takeaways we've heard in all the conversations we've had with our clean energy industry peers. If you weren't able to attend, here's our top 3: 3️⃣ If you have a facility that uses electricity, it remains true that an investment in solar power could net stellar returns for your business. Case in point: A recently installed project for a Blue Horizon Energy customer is projected to see that investment pay for itself twenty-six times over. Yes, a 26X return on investment. Minnesota is a great state to operate a business as there are ample incentive programs that make these returns achievable. 2️⃣ Now is the time to get in touch with solar providers like ourselves to evaluate your property for solar. Whether you're looking into solar to achieve a sustainability goal, or to lower operating costs, solar can deliver on that goal right now. There's very little that suggests the reward will get better if you delay. 1️⃣ While the outcome of an upcoming election is looming in the minds of many, solar energy has proven to be a recipient of bipartisan support: It's a more affordable source of power while being carbon-free and it's the bedrock for a new boon era of American manufacturing jobs.
