This past Friday we recognized Ataulhaq Naseemi for outstanding achievement in handling a subject with several guns and warrants for violent crimes. Naseemi's calm demeanor defused the situation where he actually had a loaded handgun pointed at him from point blank range. He gently backed off the scene and made sure video cameras were affixed on the individual until Sheriff's Deputies arrived and arrested the subject. We and our client were shocked to learn of several guns with, and warrants on the subject. Excellent work Naseemi. We appreciate you.

Yay Elijah!
We are recognizing Elijah Johnson as our October 2023 Static Officer Employee of the month. Elijah works a difficult, downtown Sacramento district and recently handled an angry trespasser brandishing a knife. He was able to deescalate the situation and get the individual to move away from him while calling out directions and descriptions to PD. The individual was arrested as a result. Elijah is a great example of an officer who does not allow complacency to creep in and because of that, he stayed safe and got a bad guy off the street. Thanks Elijah!
