Sales Executive Pam Vetrano took her fundraising to new heights! Pam participated in Over The Edge, a daring fundraiser in Western New York benefiting The Arc Erie County New York, which supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through her dedication, Pam raised an impressive $2,000 and rappelled down Seneca One, our new Buffalo headquarters. Her courage and commitment to the community are a true inspiration.

We're thrilled to celebrate the launch of the first mobile boutique in the region from Dress for Success Buffalo, with our partners M&T Bank, the Buffalo Bills Foundation and Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo. This innovative initiative will bring career resources and clothing directly to those who need it most. 💙💼

We're proud to announce that our president, Dr. Michael Edbauer, a veteran and lifelong Buffalonian, has been recognized with the prestigious Employee Veteran in Leadership Award from Military Friendly®. Under Dr. Edbauer's leadership, Highmark has significantly expanded its support for WNY veterans through a variety of initiatives, including: •Establishing a partnership to support Wreaths Across America - Buffalo City Cemetery. •Sponsoring a service dog for a local veteran through the WNYHeroes Pawsitive for Heroes Program. •Providing employee volunteers for WNYHeroes events, including the 5K and Memorial Day bike ride. •Providing $5,000 in funding to support events and AED donations for veteran organizations. •Leading a volunteer day at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park on Sept. 11. For over a decade, we've celebrated Flag Day by displaying a donated flag from the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park, continuing a longstanding tradition. This year, in collaboration with M&T Bank, the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park, Mayor Byron W. Brown, United States Coast Guard Sector Eastern Great Lakes and The Buffalo Fire Department, we've proudly raised the flag at our new home, Seneca One! We also welcomed some of our Highmark team members who started their first day in our new office space. The rest of our workforce will be transitioning over the coming weeks.
