We are thrilled to announce that one of our providers, Madeline McArthur will be embarking on a new chapter in her medical journey - Madeline McArthur has been selected to join UC Irvine 's Fellowship Program in TNT Psychiatry Fellowship.

This February, BCHC celebrates the rich history of Black individuals who have made significant contributions to the medical and healthcare field. Their influence can be seen in every facet of our work, from committed nurses and caregivers to trailblazing physicians and researchers. We reaffirm our dedication to advancing inclusion, equity, and diversity both inside and outside of our institution as we celebrate their accomplishments. #blackhistorymonth

We would like to use this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for this incredible act of generosity. We have received a truly amazing donation that has warmed our hearts beyond measure. With the assistance of friends from Jif Peanut Butter, Jason and Jonikka Vallejo generously donated to us on Tuesday. With this amazing donation to our organization, the Vallejo family and Jif Peanut Butter have demonstrated their care and support for the patients at New Life Day Center Clinic. One hundred cases—more than one thousand jars—of Jif Peanut Butter were included in the contribution. Giving a jar of peanut butter to a person in need is a seemingly simple act, but it carries a profound importance in contributing to the journey of better health and a better life. This donation is an investment in the health and well-being of the recipients. We are appreciative of those who make the decision to support us, believe in our cause, and take action to make positive changes in our community. The generosity of Jason and Jonikka Vallejo is a brilliant illustration of the wonderful things that may occur when people unite behind a common goal. This contribution has an influence that goes well beyond the immediate help it offers. It delves profoundly into the essence of our purpose and the lives we influence. To all of us at BCHC, charity is like a beam of sunshine on a gloomy day, providing warmth, hope, and a fresh feeling of purpose.
