We are Kansas City: Monica Green, Quality Interventions Specialist, Senior, calls Kansas City home – and we’re grateful she’s called Blue KC her work home for more than 20 years. Monica says her role at Blue KC “allows me to be in the community and do what I really like to do – constantly talking to people, making sure that they stay healthy, and it also allows me to do a lot of the community service things that I do currently,” too. Whether it’s a volunteer event facilitated through Blue KC, or highway cleanup and Easter egg hunts on her own time, you’re sure to find Monica giving her time to a good cause in her hometown. “What better way to give back to a community [than] to be a part of the community, know exactly how it worked beforehand, and how you can make an impact in the future.” Thank you for all you do, Monica!
