The VelRay filtration skid didn’t even make it a week after the WIOA conference before it got to work at its first pilot site. If you’re a mining customer, this could be a fit for a wide range of applications where standard filtration fails. Think very high solids of up to 10,000ppm even in oil or grease applications, down to a 20 micron filtration degree. Do you have a dam or lagoon that you are drawing from with excess sand, sediment or algae blocking up your process water or filling your tanks with sludge? Think nozzle protection, prefiltration to DAF, Media, UF and RO. Other applications include cooling towers, boiler feed water or pump protection, dewatering or use as a concentrator. The list is endless! Get rid of those disposable cartridges and make the chemical you are using do what it is meant to be doing and keep those OPEX costs down! Each skid does up to 90m3/h (25 l/s).
