Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP) is the regional economic development organization for the Boise Metro, representing the southwestern Idaho counties of Ada, Boise, Canyon, Gem and Owyhee, and including the capitol city of Boise. With a long-term mission of creating jobs, attracting new businesses to the region and encouraging investment in the community, BVEP is actively involved in the economic vitality of the Boise Metro, and is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for businesses and families alike. As a separately funded division of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, BVEP is driven by a partnership of communities, institutions, chamber organizations and businesses in the area. Another National Dogs Day means another post of the BVEP dogs! Jasper, the supposedly "mini" goldendoodle who ended up being 60 pounds, and is obsessed with his orange 'chuck it' ball! Jake, the actual mini Doxie Poo, that commands the office! Koda, the goldendoodle, who will stare at a squirrel in a tree for 20 minutes without making a sound just waiting for him to come down!

What an incredible morning spent at the Micron Technology Daycare Grand Opening! This facility will be opening its doors in just a few weeks and welcoming over 124 kids on site. Daycare is critical to the future of workforce and we are proud of the efforts Micron and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA have put into this partnership. Here's to the future!

What a wonderful Q3 stakeholder event! A huge shout out and thank you to Colliers for presenting this event. We had a great chance to hear from Mike Peña & Lincoln Hagood, on a Canyon County real estate update. Following that we were joined by Visit Boise Executive Director Carrie Westergard, Oak View Group's Idaho Center GM Andrew Luther and Delta Global Sales Executive Anita Overall, MBA to discuss tourism, travel, entertainment and the impact it has on our regional economy. This panel was moderated by BVEP board chair Thomas J. Mortell- Co-Managing Partner at Hawley Troxell. Thanks to all who participated and attended!

9,180 Idaho seniors were just granted awards from Idaho Launch! These students will receive up to $8,000- towards tuition & training for in-demand careers at Idaho Education Institution. Our team just returned from San Francisco for the Semicon West conference! Monday night, we were joined by our partners at Onondaga County Office of Economic Development & Micron Technology to host a reception for potential suppliers. Thanks to Boise Mayor, Lauren Mclean for your remarks and the work you continue to do to make this city a welcoming place for business and residents!
