METAL: Large projects are cast in sections and then welded together. The seams then get blended through various techniques using hand tools. This process is called "chasing". This is also where any internal armature or structural fabrication happens. 📸: @theheadspaceofsipos

Ever wondered about the mesmerizing colors adorning our bronze sculptures? It's all about the patina! A result of a delicate chemical dance with copper, the patina process transforms the surface, creating captivating hues. Our artisans expertly manipulate a liver of sulfur base with a medium cupric nitrate mixture, crafting stunning shades of blue and green that enhance the beauty of the bronze. 📸: @dvmariot

Donald Baechler - Skull Bronze – 2016 43 x 28 x 3.5 in. An avid collector of visual imagery, Donald Baechler (b. 1956 – 2022, New York) filed away representations of maps, toys, upheld thumbs and playing cards to later source for his compositions. With stylistic references to modernist masters and Pop Art added to these doses of pop culture, Baechler is celebrated for his works overflowing with the joy and idealism of an adult who hasn’t forgotten childhood innocence.
