What is the key to a long and fulfilling life? Yes, we all like to know the answer to this question. Luckily, we get it during this year’s German Superyacht Conference, which will take place in Hamburg the 27th February in the Hotel Hafen Hamburg. We managed to get superyacht owner, visionary investor, longevity expert and entrepreneur Dr. Tobias Reichmuth to talk about his trip of a lifetime onboard his 45m icebreaking explorer ”Prometej”. His latest project, BlueCruise, takes him on a fascinating journey to the Blue Zones of this world - the regions where people live to an above-average age. He'll travel with his yacht for 18 months and takes guests and scientists along. Delegates of the German Superyacht Conference will gain exciting insights into his upcoming trip, which starts just a week after the conference and he will share valuable insights into longevity and quality of life with us. If this is not enough to convince you that the 27. February is a great day to be in Hamburg, then the rest of the 10 speakers will: Find the programme and link to get your your ticket here: https://lnkd.in/ezvphXh2 I hope to see you at the German Superyacht Conference! Get your tickets here: superyacht-conference.com It's the perfect combination of superyacht history plus a fantastic programme at the GSC! This year, we are focussing on a selection of ten speakers from different areas of the superyacht industry. In this way, we are presenting an exciting programme that will offer the maximum 150 participants plenty of variety in combination with the extended networking breaks. The programme of the 13th GSC Rob Luijendijk and Enrique Tintore from Damen Yachting will start the day. They will talk about the rapid rise of supply yachts and explain how the demand for explorer formats is linked to the needs of the youngest generation of owners. The impressive Amels 80 semi-custom platform will also be on the agenda. Stefan Nehry and Oliver Blattner from Nauticfire are experts in all types of fireplaces on ships and will explain the difficulties involved in planning, integrating and certifying fireplaces & co. on board. Italian yacht designer Marco Casali is travelling from Rome to talk about his work, creative approaches and inspirations. Together with several shipyards, he is committed to ensuring that superyachts and motorboats leave a significantly smaller ecological footprint. Jimmy Carroll from Pelorus Travel in London arranges exclusive trips and adventures for UHNWIs and summarises his experiences in an entertaining way on the GSC stage. "Project Zero" is the working title of a new 69-metre building currently under construction at Vitters Shipyard . The team from Dykstra Naval Architects, among others, is responsible for the design of the ketch and will be sending designer Mark Leslie-Miller to Hamburg as a speaker. He will present the extraordinary yacht and emphasise the positive impact of the innovative construction on the entire industry. timo holthoff is a luminary in the field of exclusive carpets. The Hanseatic native takes us on a journey to the best weavers in the world and reports on how he realises unusual custom projects together with the most internationally renowned interior designers. As Head of Design at Maserati and Head of Stellantis's Design Studio, Klaus Busse is very familiar with the world of beautiful shapes and has also been able to give free rein to his creativity on a maritime level over the past 30 years. He answers the question of how (car) designers anticipate the trends of the future. US designer and yacht designer Bill Tripp is a GSC speaker for the second time. He sheds light on why considering the stability of a vessel is crucial, especially when yachts are travelling worldwide. What a beauty, issue # 1/25 of BOOTE EXCLUSIV ! Filled with a huge variety of exciting superyacht content. Working as a yachting journalist offers wonderful experiences. We get to see the latest superyachts in the world, visit the best shipyards and meet people in our fascinating industry who are bursting with passion and inspiring stories. One of them is Brit Jimmy Carroll , co-founder of Pelorus Travel, who has an adventure account full to bursting. The likeable and energetic ex-soldier and his London-based team arrange unforgettable trips that cannot be booked anywhere else. Naturally, the travel agency plans the clients' mobility options into the supporting program of each trip - explorer yachts, private jets and helicopters. Anyone who follows the 42-year-old expedition professional on his social media channels can only sink under their desk with envy. For more than five months a year, he accompanies his clients to the Arctic (heli-skiing), Antarctica (kayak tours), Mexico (diving) or Indonesia (surfing). In issue 1/25 BOOTE EXCLUSIV he well-travelled adventurer reveals where he particularly likes to take his yacht-loving clients and what his personal favorite is. Who wouldn't want to swap jobs with him? Jimmy Carroll will also be speaking at the German Superyacht Conference 2025, which takes place in Hamburg on February 27. Tickets are already on sale: https://lnkd.in/e9mYcxQZ We regularly write about owners who fulfill a long-cherished dream with a yacht and have it built full of enthusiasm for a very specific adventure. For the German entrepreneur and majority owner of the Cantiere delle Marche shipyard, Tom Schröder, this dream recently began: a seven-year trip around the world with his family and on board his 44-meter explorer “Maverick”. My colleague Sören Gehlhaus takes you on a tour of this exceptional format, which was regularly used as a party platform at the last fall trade fairs and Formula 1 events. Another prime example of “Passion Meets Yachting” can be found in the form of the 50-meter one-off “Anjelif”. Owner Maria Francesca Angelini gave us a personal tour of the three decks of the latest delivery from Columbus Yachts which boasts a variety of exciting special solutions. “SERENISSIMA” is an Italian word meaning ‘the most serene’ or ‘the most holy’, which makes it a wonderful yacht name. However, the fact that we are presenting two - and very different - boats with the same name in one issue is an amazing coincidence. With the 47-metre “Serenissima I” from Mengi Yay Yachts halls, a boxing Riva fan had an attractive and versatile cruising base built. The lively Cypriot Sotos Stephanou christened his cat, the new 24-meter flagship of the Fountaine Pajot series catamaran shipyard, “Serenissima III”. He spends at least 100 days a year on the two-hull boat, which he calls his floating home. We need more owners like him! #passion #yachting #booteexclusiv Enjoy the read!
