We are expanding! We have a few exciting updates here at Born in Detroit. First and foremost, we are staying at our downtown pop up through the end of the year. Make sure to stop by on your way to Lions and Wings games, we would love to see you there. Additionally, we are opening a "Born in Detroit" Bar and Grill in McNamara Terminal. We will be selling our own merchandise, as well as serving 8 Mile Vodka. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will all be served throughout the course of the day. Opening May 2025. We thank you all for your endless Detroit and cannot wait to see where this next step takes us.

Shoutout to Hail! Impact for their amazing work in the community. Last week, we hosted a charitable signing event at the store featuring Donovan Edwards, Will Johnson, and Semaj Morgan. The three student-athletes, all "Born In Detroit" were a pleasure to have in the store, repping the brand, their city, and the Wolverines. The signing event benefitted Veterans Of the Game and Football Alumni of Michigan. Go Blue!

We have had such an amazing week! Thank you to everyone for all of your support. We had the chance to collaborate with Jay Towers again on Born in Detroit Merchandise for Jay's Juniors. Make sure to check it out- the shop is open until July 31 and a portion of the proceeds benefits the cause. Shoutout to Fox 2 Detroit for having us on. We got to showcase our Summer Collection and our collaboration with Jay. Additionally, Michigan wide receiver Semaj Morgan joined the Local 4 Morning Show to talk about the Born in Detroit charitable signing and the upcoming football season. We then got to host Semaj, Donovan Edwards, and Will Johnson in store for a signing event benefiting FAM and Veterans of the Game. We appreciate our community and cannot wait to do more.

We are excited to announce our partnership with Jay's Juniors! A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit this program, which allows for children with life-altering or life-threatening conditions to go on an all expense paid vacation to Disney World with their families at Christmas time. Join us on July 9th from 4:30-6:30 PM for a Signing Event/Meet and Greet with Michigan Football Players Donovan Edwards, Will Johnson, and Semaj Morgan! The proceeds from this event benefit FAM and VOG. The Football Alumni of Michigan (FAM) is a volunteer-run 501c3 non-profit organization and the official home for those who have worn the winged helmet and those who supported the team throughout their storied history as the winningest football program in the country. They help provide health care, legal, career, and financial assistance to their teammates in need and creating opportunities for our members to network with our community of over 700 members across the globe and counting.   The Veterans of the Game mission is to curate military history through ongoing support for the University of Michigan’s Veterans of the Game Program. While not affiliated with the University of Michigan or the Athletic Department, their non-profit organization commemorates the veterans recognized by the University and builds on the relationships created to remember those who sacrificed and persevered while serving in the military.
