This week, at the request of the Pennsylvania Municipal Electric Association, AMP provided Advanced Transformers training in the Borough of Lansdale and Borough Of Chambersburg, Pa. An additional training will be held in the Borough of Grove City next week. The Advanced Transformers course is a refresher for journeyman lineworkers or a learning opportunity for experienced apprentice lineworkers and is focused on advanced transformer theory and the review of transformer connections. The course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of transformer sizing, fuse sizing and three-phase transformer banking. Attendees for the Lansdale training included staff from the Borough Of Kutztown, Borough of Lansdale, Borough of Middletown, Borough of Perkasie and Borough Of Quakertown. For the Chambersburg training, attendees included staff from Blakely Borough, Borough of Chambersburg and Borough of Middletown.
