The Boston Entrepreneurs' Network - where tech and life sciences founders and founders-to-be learn, network, and grow

About us

The Boston Entrepreneurs' Network (ENET) offers an unrivalled opportunity to network with entrepreneurs and professionals from high tech, biotech, medtech and many supporting industry sectors. In the modern tech economy, where innovative commercial and consumer products may derive from the combined insights of engineers, biologists, chemists, and coders, ENET brings all of these skills together - in the interest of sparking new ideas and nurturing new startups. ENET is an award-winning non-profit focused on supporting experienced and aspiring entrepreneurs by connecting them with information and people needed to transform great ideas into successful businesses. Founded in 1991, ENET is where tech and life sciences entrepreneurs can network, learn and grow their businesses. ENET organizes 19 evening meetings per year, split between Waltham and Cambridge. Every meeting is designed to be a learning experience in a nurturing environment during which 3 or 4 experts speak on a variety of subjects that are essential to new company founders. We cover a broad range of startup-critical topics, including business formation and launch, finding and working with co-founders and team members, bootstrapping, SBIR (and other) grants, how to protect IP, term sheets, and much, much more! Our speakers are angel investors, venture capitalists, CEOs, serial entrepreneurs, industry sector experts and professionals. Some subjects may be repeated from year to year, but always with new insights and perspectives; everybody has the opportunity to learn something at every event. Audience questions and shared insights are actively encouraged. Every event includes ample time for networking both before and after the formal presentations. The ENET event season starts in September ends each year with a July sunset networking cruise of Boston Harbor. We typically invite other complementary groups from the region to join our "EntrepreneurShip" to further enhance the night's networking.
