Yesterday, #BotsIQ visited Big Beaver Falls Middle School’s afterschool program to excite 5th and 6th graders about manufacturing. Students learned the concepts of lean manufacturing and efficiency in an assembly line as they took on the role of assembler, quality inspector, and packager. #MFGexplore #manufacturing #afterschoolprogram

Today, #BotsIQ students from Springdale Jr-Sr High School toured Kiski Precision Industries. One student shared, “[This tour] put manufacturing in a whole new light for me, changed my perspective and made me more knowledgeable of it. Yesterday, the #BotsIQ was honored to be included in the Intermediate Unit 1’s launch of their Career Mobile Lab. Educators were able to see how easy it is to bring manufacturing into their classrooms as they stopped by and designed a personalized hall pass for their classroom. We look forward to partnering with IU1 to introduce manufacturing and robotics to their students.
