Unbound by convention, bound to save lives
About us
Boundless Bio is discovering and developing novel cancer therapeutics based on the role of extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA) in driving tumorigenesis, resistance and recurrence. When DNA in cancer cells comes off chromosomes, “extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA),” it becomes unbound and unwound, thereby enabling numerous copies of cancer-causing genes, driving cancer cells to grow and allowing them to resist treatment. At Boundless Bio, we are counterattacking this ecDNA phenomenon with boundless innovation and boundless energy to develop powerful new cancer medicines that eliminate cancer cells’ ability to employ ecDNA to survive. Our Culture: At Boundless, you’ll experience what it means to be out in front of the wave. Our unprecedented science takes us to new shores, and our team navigates the best breaks. We’re leaders in our field, and we’re dedicated to the cause of understanding and treating intractable cancers. Every employee at Boundless makes an unbridled impact on our capabilities and our culture. We’ll help you expand your abilities and defy your bounds by providing meaningful work and unbounded opportunities. Career development is essential at Boundless. We’re all in on this fight against cancer– collaboration is requisite to our success. We have a team of people who ask, offer, and accept help without regard for ego. We know that receiving support is energizing, and giving help is fulfilling. We are inspired by the patients who are reliant upon our success. At Boundless, we’re all in. We are unbound by convention, bound to save lives. Career Inquiries careers@boundlessbio.com General Information Inquiries info@boundlessbio.com

This summer was Boundless' second annual Summer of Service. We came together for a series of meaningful community service events, making a positive impact alongside multiple organizations with the help of Life Science Cares San Diego. From hosting food and clothing drives to hands-on volunteering, we are grateful for the opportunity to give back. Take a look at all we accomplished together this summer: · With Feeding San Diego we collected and sorted food for distribution, addressing food insecurity in our community. · For Wesley House Student Residence we had an in-office clothing drive that supported under resourced and first-generation college students with essential items. · At Serving Seniors, we hosted a birthday celebration for seniors, complete with cupcakes, gifts, and heartfelt moments. · At Mama's Kitchen, our team assembled over 3,600 meals for San Diego residents facing critical illnesses. · For Ocean Discovery Institute, two of our science leaders hosted virtual career talk sessions with K-8 students from underserved communities in San Diego, sharing their pathways in science and inspiring students to pursue careers in STEM. · For the Monarch School, we assembled backpacks filled with school supplies for unhoused students, supporting their educational journey. · With the San Diego chapter of The Links, Incorporated we held an engaging science demo for 7th and 8th graders, aiming to increase diversity in STEM fields. It was a pleasure to work with these organizations and make impact across San Diego. A huge thank you to Life Science Cares and all our BoundTowners for their enthusiasm in participating. Your passion for service truly makes a difference in our community!

Last month, students from San Diego Miramar College got an inside look at Boundless Bio's lab to see how they advance new and innovative oncology therapies. They met Sr. Research Associate Rachelle Elsdon who showed the group the chemistry lab, and also had the opportunity to meet other scientists at the company.

When it comes to patients whose cancers harbor oncogene amplification, they remain in high unmet medical need as targeted therapies have proved largely ineffective. With significantly worse survival, it’s estimated that there are about 1.3 million patients in the US, EU and Japan with oncogene amplified cancer every year. Boundless has set out to improve and extend the lives of these patients by developing ecDNA-directed therapies (ecDTx) - an entirely new approach to #cancertreatment. Happy #InternAppreciationDay to our wonderful team of interns! Anjali Bose, Jackson Bishop, Wanyi Zhu, Katia Garcia, Abeni Thomas and Rand Ato are spending the summer with us in roles across the company, obtaining hands-on experience with BoundTowners, and learning what it takes to bring new therapies to patients with oncogene amplified #cancer. We have a fun lunch planned today for the interns and their managers to show our gratitude and appreciation, as well as celebrate their successes. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Last week, a few BoundTowners volunteered to join Front Runners & Walkers’ SD #Pride 5K and cheer participants on. We had a blast running the early morning bag check and supporting Andrew K. our CMC group’s Director of Drug Substance Development, who is also the Race Director for the SD Pride 5K! We’re always proud of our team’s contributions in and out of the office, supporting the greater San Diego community.

We’re extending a big Boundless welcome to our 2024 summer interns, Anjali Bose, Jackson Bishop, Wanyi Zhu, Katia Garcia, Abeni Thomas and Rand Ato! Last week they joined us for a welcome outing to Torrey Pines State Beach to kick off the summer together. These stellar individuals will work closely with various R&D and business teams to gain firsthand experience from BoundTowners. We are looking forward to all their contributions this summer as we work together to develop novel therapies for patients with oncogene amplified cancer!

It was a pleasure to kick off our Summer of Service with the 2nd annual Life Science Cares San Diego "Feeding Bodies, Fueling Minds" Summer Food Drive. Our BoundTowners stepped up, bringing needed food items in for this worthy cause and volunteering to help Feeding San Diego provide meals to students experiencing food insecurity.
What a fantastic day in the life science industry! Today was the 2nd annual Life Science Cares "Feeding Bodies, Fueling Minds" Summer Food Drive! 25 life science companies came together today to donate food and volunteer at Feeding San Diego! Nearly 50% of students in San Diego County rely on free or reduced-price meals provided in schools. During the summer these meals are unavailable. To address this, our goal was to provide 10,000 meals to students experiencing food insecurity this summer. There is still time to donate to our fundraiser to get $ directly to Feeding San Diego to provide food for students in need. https://lnkd.in/gyYtXYpm HUGE THANK YOU! To all of the companies who participated in this years drive! Check back next week for an update on how many meals we all provided together! Together we can do more!
