Check this out! Our latest Fire Station for the City of Orlando. Fire Station 11. We'll be building five more of these as well. The aerial work isn't too bad if I do say so myself. Pretty challenging area to fly.
H. J. High recently completed the City of Orlando's Fire Station 11, The Beast of the East. The new station replaces the decades-old station in the Dover Shores neighborhood. Located at the intersection of Curry Ford and Gaston Foster, is a four-bay station with the latest technology and amenities to keep our firefighters safe. Designed by national leader, ARCHITECTS DESIGN GROUP | Public Safety Architects, the station embraces the most recent cancer-preventing features and puts the health of the first responders first! The Beast of the East also leverages two full arrays of solar panels to offset the station's carbon footprint. The finishing touch is an 80-foot mural on the east side of the main structure. Titled "Meanwhile at Fire Station 11 …" it features a comic book-inspired depiction of firefighters and rescue teams springing into action. The new facility is a much-needed addition to the Dover Shores neighborhood and is sure to serve the community for decades to come. You can tour the new facility this Saturday at the community open house. Saturday, April 20 11 am – 2 pm 4911 Curry Ford Road Orlando, FL 32812 https://lnkd.in/eZJW6xsy
