🚤 Keeping the Classics Alive: A Tribute to Sea Tabby 🚤 We’re honored to welcome back Sea Tabby, the legendary 1938 Mathis Trumpy 62-foot motor yacht, as she returns to Bradford Marine for a well-deserved refit. Trumpy yachts, often hailed as the "Rolls Royce" of American motor yachts, hold a timeless allure. Out of the 400 built in the 20th century, only about 100 remain today—each a floating piece of history. For over nine years, Sea Tabby has made her annual journey to our shipyard, where our skilled craftsmen, particularly in our Carpentry Department, ensure that these icons of yachting heritage remain in pristine condition. As Captain Andrew Bürgin, Sea Tabby’s longtime captain, shared: "In the last few years, the staff has gone out of their way to make sure we’re happy. It’s definitely a more customer-focused environment. I’ve also noticed the physical changes around the yard and improvements are happening bit by bit. It’s a process." So, why does Sea Tabby continue to choose Bradford? “The lift, the incredible talent in the Carpentry Department, my Project Manager, the great attitude, and the service.” – Captain Andrew Bürgin Captain Bürgin’s passion for the yacht and his appreciation for the care we take at Bradford make it clear why this vessel is such a treasure.
