In May, the Foundation released the latest installment of the Opportunity Data Project, focusing on early childhood educational systems and outcomes in East Baton Rouge Parish. To celebrate this release and foster a broader discussion, we hosted a community dialogue attended by over 125 community members! Rhett Morris from Common Good Labs presented key findings, followed by a panel discussion moderated by State Representative Barbara Freiberg. The panel featured insights from education leaders and policymakers, highlighting the critical impact of early childhood education on future outcomes. We are excited to share that the Foundation's most recent cohort of Development Fellows has officially graduated! Over the course of six months, the Development Fellows completed one of the Foundation's signature programs—an intensive workshop series focused on fundraising fundamentals. The program was designed to enhance the skills and effectiveness of emerging development professionals. We are eager to see the positive impact these individuals will make on our community.
