Winter Session Internship At Brainwave Teen Psychology January 3rd - March 9th Brainwave is seeking talented, and hardworking high school individuals for our Winter Internship! This internship will take place from January 3 to March 9 and will consist of tasks, projects, and hands-on involvement in the field of mental health. This internship is specifically for high school students to first-year college students and is entirely virtual. This internship is voluntary but you can receive Volunteer Hours, Recommendation Letter, and experience. The internship is entirely managed by multiple people at Brainwave, including the Founder and supervisor, Chief of Employment Services and internship Program, Chief Experience Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and the director of the department you will be working in. We require that individuals who are motivated and express a strong interest in pursuing a career in the Mental Health Field, who want to limit the stigma and make change for such a significant topic in society. You will conduct research, get involved in your community, hear from mental health professionals in different fields and make new friends! Brainwave is divided into multiple departments which include: - Communications - Graphic Design - Educational Research In Mental Health - Social Media Each department will require different skill sets and responsibilities from interns, but as a general intern you are expected to comply with company standards such as the following: - Ability to dedicate 5-10 hours a week - Attend a mandatory orientation meeting prior to the start of the internship - Attend department meetings bi-weekly - Complete tasks on time - Actively participate in all relevant programs and meetings - Attend a certain amount of meetings in compliance with our attendance policy - Communicate and report to your department director - Record all hours on a secure time tracker - Take on responsibilities required by the director and head administration You will receive an orientation, a detailed calendar, a team meeting with your department, a task list, and information to make your internship educational and thrilling!
