As we conclude our Empower to Advance: Envisioning the Future of Education Fall Summit, we reflect on the inspiring conversations, fresh perspectives, and collaborative energy shared over the past three days. #ArtificialIntelligence is an inherent reality in education. In fact, a recent report from Common Sense Media shows that Black and Brown students are some of the fastest adopters of the technology. Earlier this month, Sue Thotz, of Common Sense, discussed the increasing use of AI in #education, the impact it could have on minoritized communities, and how setting clear expectations & advocating for its role as a learning tool can help students succeed. Today, on Indigenous Peoples' Day, we at BranchED honor the rich histories, cultures, and invaluable contributions of Indigenous communities.   Through our work, we strive to elevate and integrate Indigenous perspectives and teaching methods into educational practices nationwide.
