About us
Our locally led teams are made up of true builders united in an ironclad commitment to serve our partners, communities, and the future we’re building toward. Because we know it’s the people behind each project that matter most. Since Miller Gorrie founded Brasfield & Gorrie in 1964, we’ve grown from a local contractor to a national construction company with 13 offices in eight states. In 2023, Engineering News-Record ranked us #21 on its Top Contractors list, and ENR Southeast ranks us #1 in the region. We’ve helped clients complete projects that transform communities and power economies. And during our growth, we’ve maintained the identity that sets us apart—true builders guided by the Golden Rule

Two of our leaders joined the Birmingham Business Alliance's Leadership Exchange trip to Raleigh, where Executive Vice President Trey Clegg introduced a panel discussing technology, innovation, and construction. The panel featured Vice President and Division Manager Scott Cooper, along with our project partners from Trinity Capital Advisors, Hanbury, and Cushman & Wakefield Inc. The panel included a look at the Spark Life Science project, offering valuable takeaways for innovation and growth. This trip allowed Birmingham business leaders to learn about Raleigh's successes to fuel growth in their own region.

So many people have been impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene, including our friends, clients, and partners. We invite you to join us in supporting hurricane relief efforts. American Red Cross, Salvation Army, and Samaritan's Purse are among many organizations doing good in this difficult time and are great options if you're looking for ways to support.

It's opening day at the new Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital! 🎉 This 19-story, 1.6 million sq ft replacement hospital is our largest contract to date. Arthur M. Blank Hospital will offer the latest healthcare technology, a wide range of clinical specialties, and design features to help children heal as quickly as possible, including: ⭐ Expansive windows in each patient room to provide abundant natural light and promote well-being ⭐ Interactive wall displays and activity zones to encourage playtime ⭐ An automated guided vehicle system and a robotic cart delivery system to streamline the flow of medical supplies throughout the hospital It's been an honor working on this state-of-the-art facility, from our first introduction to the project in August 2016 to the first patients arriving today. We're grateful for the incredible teamwork that helped this project finish under budget and nine months ahead of the original schedule.

We're thrilled to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Shepherd Center Arthur M. Blank Family Residences in Atlanta! This 16-story tower will provide free housing to families who come from outside of the metro Atlanta area so they can be close to loved ones undergoing spinal and neurological rehabilitation. This special project holds deeper meaning for Senior Project Manager Taylor Nester, whose father received treatment at the Shepherd Center after a spinal cord injury.
